Day 0: Departure from U.K

Day 01: Arrive Bangalore
On arrival at Bangalore airport meet with our representative at airport arrival lounge and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 02 : Palani HillsBangalore - Palani Hills, 426 km
Early morning leave for Palani, on arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03 : Palani Hills
Morning after breakfast visit Dhandayudhapani Temple dedicated to the Lord Murugan. Also visit Thiru Avinankudi & pada Vinayakar shrines, Mariyamman Temple, Perumal Temple. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 04 : Palani Hills - Madurai, 122 km

Day 05 : MaduraiSouth India Temple Tours
Morning after breakfast visit the ancient city of Madurai, some 2600 years old is laid out in the banks of river Vaigai as a lotus flower with the Meenakshi temple in the centre. Visit including Meenakshi temple, King Tirumala's Palace, Great tank and Gandhi museum. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 06 : Madurai - Tiruchendur, 214 km
Morning after breakfast drive to Tiruchendur. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Tiruchendur is the second abode of the six chosen spots of Lord Muruga, as described by Nakkirar, the famous Tamil poet. It is situated 40 km south of Tuticorin along the beautiful shores of the Bay of Bengal.

It is said that Lord Muruga camped here along with his army to defeat the demon, Surapadma. It is for this reason that this place has become one of the "Padai Veedu", meaning, the battle camp.
The other names for Tiruchendur are Thirucheeralaivai, Jayanthipuram, Thirubhuvana Maadevi and Chathurvedi Mangalam. The glory of this pilgrimage has been praised by Nakkirar in his poem, Thirumurugatrupadai and in other Tamil works like Purananooru, Silapathikaram and Devaram. Another famous Tamil poet, Arunagirinathar has compared Tiruchendur with Thirukailai, the abode of Lord Shiva in the Himalayas.

Morning after breakfast visit The Tiruchendur Murugan Kovil, rest of the day for own activity. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 08 : Tiruchendur - Rameshwaram, 209 km
Morning after breakfast drive to Ramesharam. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 09 : RameshwaramSouth India Pilgrimage Tour
Rameshwaram- the most sacred temple town of India is an island hallowed by the epic Ramayana, where Lord Rama is said to have visited before going into battle of Srilanka. The presiding deity is the Linga Of Sri Ramanatha Swamy, which happens to be one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of India. Rameswaram is also popularly referred to as the 'Benaras of the south'. In order to attain Moksha it is believed that the visit to Rameswaram is mandatory.
Visit Ramanathaswamy Temple, Agnitheertam, Gandamadana Parvatham, Dhanushkodi. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 10 : Rameswaram - Tanjore , 248 km
Morning after breakfast drive to Tanjore. On arrival check in at the hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Tanjore - The home of Carnatic music, musical instruments, dance and traditional hadicrafts, Tanjore (Thanjavur) is famous for the Brahadeeswarar Temple. The temple constructed more than a thousand years ago by the Chola King Raja Rajan is an architect's marvel. The Art Gallery and the Saraswathi Mahal Library are also well known places of interest.

Morning visit Bridhadeswara temple, Tanjore palace & museum. Rest of the day free fro own activity. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 12 : Tanjore - Chidambaram, 130 km
Morning free at leisure. In the afternoon drive to Chidambaram. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free at leisure. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 13 : ChidambaramSouth India Pilgrimage
Morning after breakfast visit the great Temple complex of Nataraj, the dancing Shiva. This temple complex was erected during the reign of Vira Chola raja ( 927-997 AD ), Nataraj is believed to be the oldest in southern India. It covers 13 hectares & has 4 gopurams, out of which North & South towering at 49m high. & other two are carved with the 108 classical postures of nataraja. other attractions of the temple are 1000 pillared hall & the Nritta Sabha court carved out like a gigantic Chariot, Image of Nataraja etc. Non hindus are not allowed inside inner sanctrum, There are many other shrines inside the main courtyard including the temples dedicated to Parvati, Subramanya & ganesh. Day 14 : Chidambaram - Arunachala - Tiruvanammalai, 150 km
Morning after a leisurely breakfast drive to Tiruvanammalai. On arrival check in at the hotel. Rest of the day free for own activity. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 15 : TiruvanammalaiSouth India Temple
Full day visit to Tiruvanammalai. Overnight stay at hotel.

Arunachaleswara temple, located on Arunachala hills, in Thiruvannamalai is one of the most scared Shiva temples in India. The temple is dedicated to Arunachaleswarar the form of Lord Shiva. It is one of the five Panchabhoota (five elements wind, water, fire, earth and space) Stalams. This temple is for fire. The other four temples are in Kalahasti (wind), Tiruvanaikka (water), Kanchipuram (Earth) and Chidambaram (Space).

The temple has majestic towers and pillars adorned with sculpted images showing the artistic excellence of the ancient periods. The walls showcase many beautiful inscriptions of successive rulers and chieftains. This temple witnesses huge inflow of pilgrims all through the year. Krithika Deepam - the light festival celebrated in the month of Krithika, Pournami - the full moon day and Thiruvoodal - the sacred quarrel are the major festivals in this temple.

The Ramana Ashramam is a tranquil ashram that showcases the life and teachings of the great mystic saint Bhagwan Ramana Maharishi who attained Samadhi here. Saint Ramana Maharishi is said to have received his first vision of the Supreme Truth at Arakandanallur, which has an ancient Shiva temple as well as caves carved by the Pallavas.

Day 16 : Tiruvanammalai - Bangalore, 206 km
Morning after breakfast leave for Bangalore. On arrival transfer to the airport to board the flight for onward destination.
