"As an avid scuba diver, the Andaman Islands are a hidden gem! The coral reefs are incredibly diverse and well-preserved. I did my first open-water dive at Havelock and saw sea turtles, manta rays, and the most vibrant corals. The glass-bottom boat ride at North Bay was perfect for my non-diving partner. Best trip ever!"

FREQUENTLY ASKED

FAQ — Exotic Andaman Tour

What is the best time to visit the Andaman Islands?
The best time to visit the Andaman Islands is from October to May. The weather is pleasant with clear skies, calm seas, and excellent visibility for snorkelling and diving. The peak tourist season is November to February with temperatures between 23°C–30°C. The monsoon season (June–September) brings heavy rainfall and rough seas, making ferry services unreliable and water activities limited.
Do I need a permit to visit the Andaman Islands?
Indian nationals do not need any special permit to visit Port Blair, Havelock, or Neil Island. However, foreign nationals receive a Restricted Area Permit (RAP) on arrival at Port Blair airport, valid for 30 days. This permit covers the main tourist islands. Some remote islands and tribal areas require additional permits. We handle all permit arrangements for our guests.
How do I reach the Andaman Islands?
The Andaman Islands are accessible by flight from major Indian cities including Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, and Bangalore. Flights land at Veer Savarkar International Airport in Port Blair. The flight from Chennai takes approximately 2 hours. There are also ships from Chennai and Kolkata, but the journey takes 3-4 days and is not recommended for most tourists. We can arrange domestic flights as part of your package.
Is the Andaman tour suitable for non-swimmers?
Absolutely! You don't need to know swimming to enjoy the Andaman Islands. Snorkelling is done with life jackets and guides, so non-swimmers can participate safely. Glass-bottom boat rides and sea walking are perfect alternatives for those who prefer not to swim. The beaches have shallow, calm waters ideal for wading. Scuba diving is also available for non-swimmers with certified instructors who guide you throughout.
Can the itinerary be customised?
Yes! We specialise in customised tours. You can extend the tour to include Baratang Island (limestone caves & mud volcanoes), Jolly Buoy Island (pristine coral reefs), or Diglipur (turtle nesting beaches). You can also upgrade to luxury resorts, add more diving sessions, or include a romantic candlelight dinner on the beach. Just fill out the enquiry form with your preferences and we'll create a tailor-made itinerary for you.
Is mobile network and internet available in the Andaman Islands?
Mobile connectivity in the Andaman Islands is limited. BSNL and Airtel have the best coverage in Port Blair. On Havelock and Neil Islands, network coverage can be patchy, especially in remote beach areas. Most hotels and resorts offer Wi-Fi, though speeds may be slower than mainland India. We recommend informing family/friends about limited connectivity and downloading offline maps before your trip.
What is the cancellation policy?
We offer flexible cancellation: Full refund if cancelled 30+ days before departure. 50% refund if cancelled 15-29 days before. No refund for cancellations within 14 days of departure. Ferry tickets are subject to the ferry operator's cancellation policy. We recommend purchasing travel insurance for added protection, especially during monsoon season.
What should I pack for the Andaman tour?
We recommend packing: lightweight, breathable clothing, swimwear, reef-safe sunscreen (SPF 50+), waterproof phone pouch, comfortable water shoes or flip-flops, insect repellent, a hat & sunglasses, a waterproof bag for beach trips, snorkelling gear (optional — we provide basic equipment), and any personal medications. Carry cash as ATMs are limited on Havelock and Neil Islands.
