The best time to visit Hampi is from October to February when the weather is pleasant with temperatures ranging from 20°C to 32°C. The famous Hampi Utsav (Vijaya Utsav) festival is held in November, featuring cultural performances, puppet shows & fireworks amidst the ruins. Avoid visiting during the peak summer months (March–May) when temperatures can exceed 40°C.
How do I reach Hampi from the UK?
The nearest international airport is Bangalore (Kempegowda International Airport), which is well-connected to London and other UK cities. From Bangalore, you can take an overnight train to Hospet Junction (approx. 7 hours) or drive (approx. 6 hours). The nearest domestic airport is Hubli Airport (approx. 2.5 hours from Hampi). We arrange all transfers as part of the tour package.
Is Hampi suitable for families with children?
